beaver fever

november. one of the two months of the year where you can't climb rock, and you can't climb ice. still needing my fix of outdoors activities, however, we decided to go hiking in the laurentians. we even managed to loan a dog for the day, because clearly hiking is better with a dog along. bonus points if the dog wears some kind of backpack and you don't have to carry its food or water bowl!

good, hard, steep sport and trad routes

this hike was also awesome because there were huge beaver dams and big partially chewed trees along the way...
