i am in amman until monday - got in friday night after a few mishaps, glad to see it's true that the jordanian people are very helpful and friendly.

spent today wandering around the roman ruins and the citadel in the sun, then hiding from the rain drinking tea and reading sartre and doing yoga while trying to tune out one of the extremely loud calls to mecca. this connection is slooooow so here are 6 whole pictures! also, as a disclaimer, these were not taken on my nikon (although it is here with me) but on my little point and shoot, so the quality is not so good...
