a bhutanese christmas

pierre had us all over for his annual lab christmas dinner this weekend. instead of the traditional tortière, this year it was mexican and bhutanese cuisine, delicious! lots of good food and wine (and tequila) to keep us warm on a chilly december evening. it is definitely rare to find a supervisor this genuinely warm and generous.

the only lowlight of the evening was the gift exchange...it was blind, not secret santa, and some of the gifts ended up being not so unisex...e.g. sébastien got an embroidered woman's wallet and i ended up with a set of cologne for men...

the rules were at least one or two shots of tequila before dinner then minimum one shot afterwards for each taco consumed
